JJBA never looked so good on my shelf

I'm happy to be an owner of the FULL series, finally! The fast-paced fights, interesting characters, and cultural impact of Jojo's Bizarre Adventure make this series--while older--one of the best manga ever made! The printing is quality, the cover is colorful, and the translation is top-notch.

The arc is nearly done.

Jotaro is the best! :D

The scan quality is amazing, worth the purchase. Will tie me over until the next season. Always great work from araki.

I pre-ordered this book, and wasn’t disappointed. If you’ve read this far, you know what jojo is about. There is only two main fights in this book, but they are important ones. One complaint is it is only 230 pages, the smallest in the jojonium series. And then, the book had a lot of visable smudges and finger prints on it. I would recommend this for any jojo fan.

Pros:Good recipes, easy to follow, table of contents very helpful.Cons:No nutrition information which is frustrating because i have to look up the net carbs for each ingredient. For example, butternut squash and leeks are very high in net carbs but they are used in some of the soups which worried me. But after all of the other ingredients added, the net carbs per serving were acceptable. However if the carbs/ fiber/ fat/ and protein was calculated and printed with each recipe, finding the macros would have been easier.

Eating keto and exercising regularly easily lead me to eating a lot of the exact same stuff. I spend a lot of time prepping and cooking vegetables and meats mostly - so I bought a new slow cooker many months ago, but still ended up eating the same stuff over and over. A very good feature about these recipes is that they are easy to follow - but detailed nutrition info for the recipes ISN’T included, in case you’re looking for that. I wasn’t - so if you’re a veg and meat mostly kind of person you’ll be very satisfied with this cookbook also. And extra spices and other ingredients besides the big ones are almost always easily found in a supermarket.Additionally, my girlfriend - who of course has more preferences for how things should taste (Specifically, GOOD lol) was pleasantly surprised about with a few of the recipes I made so far. So, it passes the girlfriend test.Two quick notes also - as others have mentioned here, my book had no pictures inside - just b&w text, and most of the recipes are to be cooked in 4 hrs (in case overnight/all day timing is an issue for anyone).

Overall I am disappointed with this cook book. For starters, there are no pictures. But the biggest drawback now for me not recommending this cook book is that there is a couple of recipes with ingredients left out. Most annoying is the butter chicken recipe where it does not list canned tomatoes or actual butter until the preparation part and then does not mention how much. Also, some of the recipes are not even true Keto and can be deceiving to people first starting out the Keto diet. For instance, the ingredient soy sauce is used.

So I had checked reviews, but gave this a shot. Beyond the no pictures and no nutrition information, which is annoying but not the end of the world, I will agree with other reviewers who found the content odd. Not a lot of main dishes, a lot of odd side dishes, a lot of shrimp dishes (who cooks seafood in a crockpot????) and a lot of dips. Dips???? you're doing super low carb, so no starches or breads, and you have to watch your veggie carbs closely, what exactly are you dipping in all these dips. It was so weird I didn't even donate it, I threw it away.

I like the types of recipes included. The instructions are vague in many of the recipes, but I "winged" it if I didn't understand. It's fine for someone who cooks often, but for my son, who wanted some of the recipes and RARELY cooks....was not very clear.

What good is a 'keto' cookbook if you don't list the fat, carb, protein breakdown, no calories either? I will be returning this book.

This book was next to useless. Sure it had a lot of what looked like tasty recipes in it, but it didn't bother to include any of the nutrient information for the recipes. Since this book is literally for the Keto diet, that seems like a glaring omission. All in all, if you're trying to be Keto, avoid this one.

No pictures, no nutrition info (thought I can tell by the ingredients that they are all in fact low carb). Recipes are fine, typically requiring only a handful of ingredients, but I can look up plenty of those online. This might be a good book for someone who doesn't have any slow cooker recipes already and is just starting their low carb journey.

I had just completed reading this well written and compassionate book. This is the last book written by Alf Wight. I have read most of James Herriot's books and even though they were written many years ago when veterinary surgery was in the midst of undergoing changes as modern drugs become available and the vet's knowledge of palpating his/her animal patients still remains a vital part of veterinary practice to this day. This final book is an excellent read and each chapter is a complete story in itself. One can put the book down and return to it without the chapter ending on a cliff hanger. Each chapter is a gem in itself. James (to use his pseudonym) illustrates great compassion for his clients and their pets. His understanding and dealing with distressed pet owners and their ailing pets is a common denominator in every chapter of this book. Not only does he have incredible patience in dealing with distraught animal owners, he illustrates his love and devotion to his patients under his care. He pays house calls to follow the progress of his patients under his care without even being called in. In his later years, he became more involved in small animal care, while his practice also involved treating large farm animals such as horses, cows, pigs and sheep. James Herriot books are ageless and one can enjoy them even many years after they were written. The anecdotes in each chapter make for interesting reading and the fact that he writes in the first person gives the reader the feeling that the writer is talking to the reader and sharing his emotions with him/her. I recommend this book to all those who share a great love for animals and their well-being as well as for those who share a common humanity.

I have loved reading all the books and watched the TV show too. He draws you in so fully as though you are there looking on. The characters in the books are beautifully fleshed out, as though you know them too. I loved the characters of Siegfried Farnon and his brother Tristin, later Callum Buchanon with is menagerie of animals.I highly recommend this fabulous look into an amazing story and the beauty of a Yorkshire England.

The end of the series is always a little sad. There's sadness in this one, of course, but it's well balanced.This one has several sad or bittersweet cat stories, which always get me - torn between the dying old man who wanted his cat and the adopted stray who dies just as some progress is being made as to which got me more (especially his companion who kept looking for him) - but it's clear from reading his work that the writer understood not only cats, but cat owners.This one is particularly good for the younger vets coming through the practice, including the vet with t'badger.

This was also a very good book, I have read all his other books, they are the best. The only one I have not read was his son's . They always make you smile and laugh, this for a change was not a cry one. The story was more on the surface of him getting older and getting extra help , his children and always his farmers and all the animals. In this day and age everyone needs books like this , it shows the pure innocents and kindness that seems to be missing in this world . James Herriot was one of the best people on this earth.

Excellent author is James Herriot! Easy, relaxing read. When I enter one of Mr. Herriot's books I feel like I've entered the wardrobe in the "Narnia" stories. He opens the door and escorts you into a much more lovely world though in Yorkshire where he was so privileged to have practiced veterinary medicine. His experiences with animals and people that he shares will have you laughing, crying and learning many things that were fascinating to me about the beginnings of veterinary practice as we know it today.

This is the third book by James Herriot I have completed, and I'm just bowled over by his animal and people stories. They are fascinating and I have never called myself an animal lover, but these stories would probably even warm the heart of Leo Rosten who said once of W.C. Fields, "Anybody who hates kids and dogs can't be all bad."The people in my apartment building would never think of me as a dog lover when I avoid getting in an elevator with one if at all possible. But these stories are just so filled with humanity, joy, and warmth that even this cranky 66-year-old widow has been charmed, and I so look forward to reading all his books. Once again, I must say that I enjoy his people stories but, in some ways, I love the animal stories even more, perhaps because they are teaching me--I know a lot about people, but I haven't known as much about animals, other than my brother's dog and my daughter's cat whom I'm a bit in love with. And so Herriot is helping me to broaden my horizons and expand my heart. I'm most grateful.But I will say that one person who stands out, other than Herriot, is his amazing and eccentric assistant, Calum. Also, it was wonderful to meet Herriot's wife whom he dubs "Helen" in his stories (for the sake of privacy). Another great bedside companion--these stories are wonderful for bedtime reading--they won't give you nightmares--just pleasant dreams with one exception. His story about fleas, although fascinating, was disturbing at bedtime. He writes so well that I felt as though I had fleas!But this, to me, is another interesting and joyful book by a warm and witty veterinarian and master story teller.

Nice photos, nicely written, a highly informative book. I thoroughly enjoyed it and would recommend it to anyone who enjoys travel yarns and especially those thinking about cruise ship holidays or planning a trip to the Americas.

I really enjoyed this travel journal. It has definitely whet my appetite for discovering more about cruising and South America, particularly the Amazon River. It would be a great read for anyone not sure if they want to go on a cruise (this book will settle the question for sure!) or thinking about hitting a few cities on the continent. A fun read for any like-minded intrepid traveller.

I found it very informative. i have not yet had the opportunity to go cruising, but this book made it sound so interesting and also easy. I just love travel books and this one lived up to my expectations.

I was afraid this book was going to be too overloaded with obscure details regarding the subject matter. Many authors/technical experts get carried away in that department. The scope of the lesson is perfectly understandable and it covers every question anyone might have regarding pressing and cleaning comic books for the first time. It stands alone as the only how-to guide for cleaning and pressing comics. Considering it costs 15 dollars per comic book to press and clean while waiting months to get it back from the presser, it's a no brainer to learn how to increase your collections value yourself!

I bought this book to learn how to press my own comics. When trying to ask for advice on how to do this on CGC & CBCS forums I was told it was not allowed. I'm surprised at how restrictive some companies are with pressing techniques. It was a relief to be able to find a book like this recently released. At over 100+ pages I feel that it is easy to understand and I used the advice in it to order all of the necessary equipment I need to begin comic pressing. Will update my review in a couple weeks after I've tested the techniques on some guinea pig comics.

Wast of money. All this info can be found for free. No secrets here. Very short book on a large topic, which much of is not covered here , or the author is unaware or not trained on. I wish I could get my 9.99 back.

This book IS SPECTACULAR! The author does a marvelous job pointing out every detail in the pressing and cleaning process. I especially appreciate the specific instructions on building a humidity chamber, pressing square bound comics, and pressing modern books with glossy pages.

Loved the ease of access diving into this book. Very well explained without trying to get too technical. An absolute must have for anyone interested in trying it themselves. Thanks Jacob!

Over all the book is good. Being that this is about pressing and cleaning comics the pictures shown as examples and for reference are lacking quality. I was interested in washing and in the table of contents refers to 1.5% and on pg. 46 talks to 3% guess I'll experiment 0-0. It brings another level of interest to comic-book collecting.

This "book" is an absolute joke. There's children's short stories with more information than this short essay masquerading around as a book. Efron gives you first hand experience on dropshipping by providing minimal information at maximum profit.
