I was so disappointed when I started reading this book. Everything else he has ever written has been amazing. But this book is like a sixteen-year-old giving you advice on relationships.From reading this book I now know that, "I am important, I got this, he doesn't deserve me, and I can do better because he doesn't deserve me, and not deserving me means knowing that he doesn't deserve me, but love is out there, go get it, you got this."And I just pretty much read the book to you.It's a bunch of words thrown together and called poetry.It's sad that this is a product of a beautiful writer it's even more sad than I spent money on it.

the book is small and does have long paragraps in some.but, that doesn't affect the books worth. it's a cheap poem book, so you shouldn't expect a bunch of pages like "milk and honey" or other poem books like that. each poem in this book is just amazing, it opens up to you the reader. the book will speak to you. Keep in mind its "i hope this reachers HER too" so if you identify as a male then the book wouldn't appeal to you since ot addresses the reader mainly as a girl. I loved this small short poem book, it was a good read. Will definitely reread poems in this when I need to just relax

A good read for women who have recently experienced heartbreak. Instead of focusing on the negatives it helps empower those at their lowest.

Firstly I must say I love r.h. sin and “I hope this reaches her in time” is my favorite book but this fell so short for me. There are a lot of long passages which isn’t typical of him. And the cover art including photos was a disappointment and didn’t fit his aesthetic. Overall I had high hopes for this book due to it seeming as a sequel to “I hope this reaches her in time” but it was a let down.

I literally just unboxed this book and I can already tell I’m glad I spent only like $4.. The front looks dirty and flipping through some of the pages look like the printer ink was running low cuz they’re a bit faded.However, besides those, it seems it could potentially be promising. It seems there’s a bit more longer type poems in here compared to his usually short ones (which there still definitely is in here) but again, it was $4. It’s a small book. As long as I can find a handful that I can feel deeply then it’s worth it.

I absolutely loved this book! If you are feeling down this is definitely a book to read.

I loved “I hope this reaches her in time,” so expecting something similar, I purchased this book. There are a few long passages, but this book is mostly motivational paragraphs which are somehow considered poetry? I feel as though a lot of this book is cheap, corny relationship advice. I also noticed quite a few typos! However, there were parts of the book that I did indeed enjoy.

A nice read for a cheap price. However, many of the poems seemed cliche and overdone. I still enjoyed it.

I expected a book of original Gatling gun drawings not just the prints of the minor modifications and their written patents. Very disappointing.

I was expecting to see detail dimensioned drawings. There are none. This book only covers the overall picture of this gun and the drawings issued to the patent office. This is just a referance book only.

This book has little substance and speaks more to Asperger's in children rather than adults. The information is more of a compilation of what you might find on websites and seems to be written from a non -professional. If you are looking for a book on Asperger's for adults, written by a professional, I would recommend Adult Asperger's Syndrome, The Essential Guide, by Kenneth Robertson, PhD. This book truly explains Asperger's in a clear & concise way by someone very experienced and knowledgeable with this population.

I learnt a lot from this book on asperger syndrome. Having had friends that show signs of asperger syndrome it is interesting to think about their actions from their perspective. The human brain is capable of so much and at the same time fragile in so many ways. If you are wondering if your friend or loved one may have asperger syndrome this would be a good book to start with. It will give you a clear idea of what is actually involved for both the person with the condition and those who live with and interact with them. If the answer is yes you'll be glad you took the time to understand their side of the equation. This is good book to start with. For more professional help I'd talk to your doctor next if this is about someone in your family.

This was a good review for someone new to the subject. It was more from an anecdotal than scientific point of view, which could be what the casual reader is looking for. I read it cover to cover in one sitting. It's a good reminder of what I already knew from other sources. I think it could be a valuable resource for teachers with affected students at the upper level, siblings, and relatives or caregivers spending time with an Aspergers person. The content should he very understandable to the lay person and provide some insight into sometimes bizarre behavior. It is a good complement to more detailed and scientific books in my library.

I have a 21-year-old daughter diagnosed with high-functioning autism as a child. She has made great strides and self identifies as an Aspie. She is articulate and intelligent but the behavior and social skills issues continue to be a challenge. This book is a great straightforward introduction to Asperger's/high functioning autism both for parents and those on the spectrum realizing they have Asperger's as adults.

The author Sara Elliott Price has really put in some time with research on this book. I have two friends that have school age children with Asperger Syndrome and I ordered this book to read for more enlightenment. I was amazed at the accurate content in this book when referenced with my two friends. They were impressed as well and will be ordering their own copies.The actual ways in which to communicate was a great help to me. I will be looking forward to many more books from this author. Highly recommend.

It is really great that the author is not judgemental of people with the condition - she just addresses the realities associated with it. I'm glad I picked up this book. I learned a lot and feel I can now communicate on a more effective level with my friends daughter. Usually, when I see m y friend, she brings has her daughter with her and it's a bit uncomfortable for me because I didn't understand the syndrome very well and why my friends daughter behaves the way she does. I now have a better understanding and feel more comfortable talking with her daughter.

This delightful picture book continues with the same endearing young sisters featured in When God Made You, which was also illustrated by David Catrow. The whimsical drawings will delight children while the profound message sinks into their hearts. The light itself is like a character, first shown by the sunlight streaming into the room as the girls pursue art on the floor. Their sweet cat and dog participate too. The text talks about when light began and how it expanded and glimmered, making dark stop being dark. It moves from rejoicing in light’s creation to sharing that God put this light inside each person. It explores what we can do in the sun and when the moon shines. Other sources of light are included. The assurance that shadows are no match for God’s light. “The day you were born, God said, ‘Let there be light!’ So beam light the sun; glimmer like a star. And wherever you go, dark will stop being dark.” I enjoyed the book, but some of the rhymes seem forced. I think they could have been polished better. I received a copy from the publisher. All opinions are my own.

Beautiful message, gorgeous illustrations, fun to read and a great gift, especially paired with When God Made You, also by Matthew Paul Turner and illustrated by David Catrow.The one thing that surprised me was that a book title with “light” in it actually focused its illustrations on the nighttime. However, in an underlying symbolic sort of way, it reiterated the message that each of us is the light in the darkness (because otherwise, why do we need more light, right?)Regardless, the message is timeless and an approachable way to deliver to children. My 5 and 3 year old love it.I received a copy from the publisher, but all opinions are my own. (and I purchased more)

Love it When God Made Light! Matthew Paul Turner has a beautiful way of writing that sings sweetly to child ears and touches adult heart! Finally a touching, colorful, fun book that beautifully expresses God, His love and His ideas! The illustrations are fantastic too! I've already purchased 6 copies to gift as well as a copy for our house! If you don't have When God Made You by Matthew Paul Turner, definitely check that Title out too! "When God Made Light" is a beautiful book both in its message and the illustrations. I adore the fluid and easy rhyme, but I especially like that it's not the typical God made light creation story. It's final message is very positive and a great way to encourage children. The illustrations are just stunning and creative. This would make a wonderful gift and addition to both family and ministry libraries.

What a beautiful book. The message is an encouragement to children to be who God made them to be, and delightful to read. And the illustrations are simply phenomenal. They are joy-filled, and bring the words to life. I couldn’t be more thrilled with this book.

I feel like the timing of this book's release couldn't be better, because oh do we need a little bit of light in our world right now. Filled with vivid, stunning artwork, and an easy-to-read yet powerful poem, WHEN GOD MADE LIGHT is the perfect bedtime story for kids of all ages. Our older 2 have thoroughly enjoyed reading it to our younger 2, and they all just love the gorgeous pictures that fill every page with color and whimsy. An excellent addition to your library. Big thumbs up!

I found this book randomly. The cover looked cute and I bought it on impulse for my baby's Easter basket. I LOVE this book! The illustrations are awesome and the story is precious. The 1st time I read it to my daughter I teared up. I've read it to her almost every day since Easter. I plan on purchasing When God Made You since I like this one so much.
