Only a few pages into this book with my wife, but I think this is an excellent purchase to incorporate Romanian into everyday conversation. There aren't any guides on how to pronounce words though, so she is dependent on the way I pronounce them. Being second generation Romanian, this may mean I'm giving her the wrong pronunciation at times.If you are purchasing this book, having someone to help is essential if you aren't using the audio downloads included with the book.
I liked this book for the phrases and subjects covered. It gives a good overview of the way things are naturally and natively said in a Romanian-speaking home. I would really like to see a follow-up to this with even more phrases.
Ordered this book to help me teach my kids (2&4) some introductory phrases in Romanian. While we have many foreign language books, this book is fantastic for us! It helps us to say things we actually say in our normal everyday conversations at home! 9/10, would recommend again to a friend. I would also absolutely recommend to a stranger (you).
